this video, "Stick Figures On Crack 3," the third installment of some dude's series, "Stick Figures On Crack," really cracks me up. This from someone who's never been on crack.
In suspense, eh? It was fine. Yes, a couple people did ask me about GD. Only two. One was the friend of a friend of GD, the one who is friends with the casual friend I mentioned before. She asked how things were going with GD, and I simply replied "It's not." Concerned, she asked me why, and I uttered some vague response. Noticing the people around us and having a modicum of tact, she simply nodded discretely and said "Okay, we'll chat about it later!"
The other person at the soiree who asked about GD was Non Emailer. Yes, the Non Emailer. I must have neglected to mention that they met the same night and venue of the Hamster Incident. And actually hit it off. GD remarked that Non Emailer seemed like a genuinely cool guy, someone he could actually hang out with. How funny is that?
But I digress. Fast forward a month to the soiree. Non Emailer, a gal pal, and I were leaving when Non Emailer asked, "So where's Your Boy?"
I deliberately responded, "My 'Boy'? His name is GD."
"Oh, GD is it?"
"Yes," I replied.
"Oh okay."
And we kind of left it at that. Yes, I'm lame. I never said I was perfect.
But that's pretty much it. Nothing too exciting or dramatic.
